Meet Our Team

Meet Crystal Moser, she is Registered Clinical Social Worker from Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada.

About: Crystal Moser is a NIHB approved practitioner which allows her to offer free counselling services to First Nations and Inuit people. Crystal is of a Métis decent and is very knowledgeable in the diverse Métis and First Nation’s cultures, traumas and traditional healing. She is always continuing her education in order to gain as much knowledge as she can to ensure she has a library of helping modalities to assist her clients in their unique journeys.

Crystal’s top priority is creating a strong rapport with her clients so they can move forward in their healing journey with the least amount of barriers. Her counselling methods come from a strength-based, trauma informed approach, knowing that with some guidance every client has the answers within them.

Qualifications/Education: Crystal Moser is a Registered Social Worker who obtained her Bachelors Degree in Indigenous Social Work from the First Nations University of Canada (Accredited through University of Regina) in 2010. Crystal was employed at The Regional Psychiatric Centre and provided individual and group therapy, as well as facilitated different programs. She has certification and experience in the areas of Trauma Informed Practice, Positive Parenting, (ASIST) Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Community Mental Health Training, Being Trauma Aware, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Inner Child Therapy.

Crystal is always continuing her education in order to gain as much knowledge as she can in order to have a library of helping modalities to assist her clients to be successful in their unique journeys. She understands that one counselling method may be exactly what one client needs, but not suit another.

Areas of Expertise: Crystal has experience in many areas, but her expertise is in: Depression/Anxiety, Suicide Intervention, Positive Parenting, Parallel Parenting, Co-Parenting, Conflict Resolution, Trauma, Childhood Trauma, Self-Esteem, Narcissist Abuse, PTSD, Grief and Loss, Couples/Family Counselling, Child and Youth Counselling, Coping with Adult ADHD. Crystal also has experience in Support Group Facilitation/Group Therapy.

Meet Valerie Mahase, she is Registered Clinical Social Worker from Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada.

About: Valerie grew up in rural Saskatchewan, where she continues to reside today. She has a passion for helping others and always keeps the well-being of her clients at the centre of her practice. She is committed to a holistic counselling approach. Valerie adheres to a strength based, solution focused approach that allows her to help clients transform their lives by helping them realize their capabilities. She provides a non-judgemental environment and  has the ability to develop strong, trusting relationships with her clients. Valerie is skilled in crisis intervention and has experience working with clients in emergency situations.

Qualifications/Education: Valerie is a Registered Social Worker. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Regina. Prior to becoming a Social Worker Valerie obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse. She also has a certificate in Meditation and a diploma in Emergency Telecommunications.  Valerie is trained in Motivational Interviewing and has taken Aboriginal/Cultural Awareness training. She is also educated in group counselling.  Valerie is passionate about education and takes every opportunity to learn new things.
