With over a decade of experience in the field, Crystal has cultivated a profound commitment to supporting Indigenous clients as they navigate their healing journeys, with a particular focus on addressing the complex effects of intergenerational trauma.
Crystal adopts a trauma-informed approach to therapy, skillfully integrating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with a strength-based methodology. This holistic perspective enables her to tailor therapeutic practices that meet the unique needs and goals of each client. As a compassionate and empathetic therapist, she fosters a safe and supportive environment that encourages personal growth, self-discovery, and healing.
Her therapeutic work is deeply enriched by her own lived experiences. Having faced life challenges and traumas, Crystal possesses a nuanced understanding of the healing process, which she believes lends invaluable insights that enhance her practice in ways that formal education alone cannot impart. This deep-rooted understanding not only informs her therapeutic approach but also strengthens her connection with clients, allowing her to navigate difficult conversations and emotions with sensitivity and care.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Crystal is passionate about community building and the importance of family. She actively engages in cultural activities and community events that promote Indigenous heritage and well-being. In her free time, Crystal cherishes moments spent with her children, extended family, and friends, recognizing the significance of strong relationships in fostering resilience and healing.
An outdoor enthusiast, Crystal enjoys staying active by exploring nature through hiking, camping, and other adventures. This connection to the outdoors not only contributes to her personal well-being but also inspires her therapeutic practice, as she believes that nature can play a vital role in the healing process.
As an advocate for Indigenous rights and mental health, Crystal Moser continues to be a steadfast resource for her clients.
