Supporting Your Well-Being
Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

At Core Counselling and Healing Inc., we believe that taking care of your mental health should be accessible, comfortable, and fit seamlessly into your life. That’s why we specialize in virtual counselling, delivering personalized, high-quality therapy right to you.
Virtual counselling is more than just a convenient alternative; it’s a powerful and effective way to engage with your well-being that solves many of the common hurdles of traditional, in-person therapy.
Forget the stressful commute, finding parking, and rushing to make your appointment. You can attend your session during a lunch break, after the kids are in bed, or even from your favorite armchair. This flexibility makes it easier to keep your appointments and maintain the consistency that is crucial for true therapeutic progress.
Your session takes place in the environment where you feel safest and most relaxed: your own home. Being in a familiar, comfortable space can lower initial anxiety and make it much easier to open up and be vulnerable, allowing you to get deeper into the work sooner.
Virtual care offers a higher level of discretion. You don’t have to worry about running into an acquaintance in a shared waiting room or having a visible appointment on your calendar. It’s therapy that fits quietly into your routine.
Location is no longer a barrier. You aren’t limited to the therapists in your immediate neighborhood. With virtual care, you can access specialists—like our expert team at Core Counselling and Healing Inc., no matter where you live in Saskatchewan.
Traditional, In-Person Counselling often adds time and stress to your life. You lose valuable time traveling, dealing with traffic, and waiting in an office that may feel clinical or unfamiliar. Appointments are often cancelled because of logistical hurdles, disrupting your progress.
Virtual Counselling is designed to eliminate those barriers. It saves you time, cuts out travel costs (gas, parking, transit), and offers the privacy and comfort of your own home. Our platform is secure, confidential, and easy to use, ensuring your focus remains entirely on your mental health journey. We’ve mastered the art of building a strong therapeutic relationship through a screen.
Stop letting logistics get in the way of your mental health. Book your first session today and discover how convenient, effective, and empowering therapy can be!
At Core Counselling and Healing Inc. our primary focus is serving the First Nations communities, this is not a market strategy—it is rooted in the personal and professional commitment of our founder.
I, Crystal Moser, am the Founder of Core Counselling and Healing, and proudly Indigenous. My specialization is built on academic rigor and lived experience of intergenerational trauma from Residential Schools, having earned a degree specializing in Indigenous Social Work. This foundation has shaped our entire practice model, ensuring our services are not only culturally safe but directly relevant to the unique challenges faced by the communities we serve.
The Company’s specialization is a direct response to the profound impact of intergenerational trauma. We understand that the historical and systemic impacts of policies like the residential school system, the Sixties Scoop and the Child Welfare Program are not abstract concepts; they are realities that manifest daily in mental health challenges, family dynamics, and community struggles.
At Core Counselling and Healing, our services move beyond conventional treatment models. We are focused on:
* Holistic Healing: Integrating mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being into the therapeutic process.
* Cultural Humility: Approaching every session with respect for Indigenous knowledge systems, traditions, and resilience.
* Addressing Root Causes: Providing a framework for clients to understand how historical trauma contributes to current difficulties, thereby empowering them to break generational cycles.
To maintain the highest standard of culturally specific care for our caseload (which is {98%} First Nations clients), we are deeply committed to building an exceptional team.
We actively seek to employ other Indigenous counsellors with the same specialization and/or counsellors who demonstrate a strong, verifiable knowledge base and background in serving Indigenous populations. Our goal is to ensure every Associate Counsellor at Core Counselling and Healing possesses the clinical expertise and cultural competency necessary to deliver the profound, respectful, and effective healing our clients deserve. This commitment to specialized hiring is central to fulfilling our mission and upholding our vision for community healing.
Social work is a practice-based profession and academic discipline founded on theories of social work, social science, and humanities. It is advanced through an evidence informed approach and recognizes the importance of Indigenous ways of knowing in practice, the development of knowledge, and education, clinical services, policy, and research.
Social work focuses on the person within their environment and recognizes the importance of family, community, culture, legal, social, spiritual, and economic influences that impact the well-being of individuals, families, groups, and communities. Social work applies a strengths-based perspective and views individual, families, and communities as resourceful, resilient, and having capacity. Principles of respect for the inherent dignity and worth of persons, the pursuit of social justice, and culturally responsive practice that applies an anti-oppressive lens to all areas of practice and is grounded in ethics, values, and humility, are central to social work.
Social work practice responds to needs of individuals, families, groups, and communities and addresses barriers and injustices in organizations and society. Social work focuses on improving health and social well-being using the social determinants of health framework when delivering services, navigating systems, and advocating for equitable access to and improvement of the multiple dimensions that impact health and well-being.
Social work engages people and communities to address life challenges and traumatic events, to create change, and build resiliency. Social work also collaborates with other professionals, communities, and organizations to provide services, improve conditions, and create opportunities for growth, recovery, and personal development.
